Volunteering

Why is there a volunteering fee?
Volunteers are the backbone of every successful Little League program. The WLL program will have a wide range of volunteer opportunities available. The WLL is a nonprofit organization, staffed and administered by volunteers.  It is vital that all families in the WLL organization work together for effective and efficient operation.  We are administering the volunteer fee for those families that cannot dedicate a minimum of 3 service hours each season, spring or fall.  The volunteer fee will be refunded once all volunteer hours is completed for the season. We appreciate your understanding.

What are the volunteer opportunities to complete the required hours?
There are always a number of opportunities to volunteer on a one time basis such as a field work day, opening ceremonies, a fundraising event, etc. Little League encourages all parents to get involved and be an active part of your community’s Little League program.

The WLL is always welcoming new and returning managers and head coaches in the beginning of each season.  Head coaches will be provided support and guidance from the Board of Directors, veteran coaches, and team parents. The WLL will provide head coaches proper baseball equipment to run practices and games.
